A special hardening process for electric powertrain components
As experts in dimensional stability, we are able to harden component gear teeth with exceptionally low levels of distortion.
We achieve this by adapting our hardening processes to minimise distortion. We specialise in this type of service, in particular for thin-walled components where distortion tolerances are sometimes less than 30 μm.
Precision hardening is ideally suited to components such as rotor shafts and ring gears.
Tests must be carried out to determine whether this process is compatible with your components.
